This project was specifically designed as an open cut project for epoxy coated ductile iron pipe. It was converted at the last minute to 10,500 feet of 14" HDPE which includes two river bores 2200' and 600' respectively. After successful negotiations, Drill-Tech is currently the only approved contractor for Baltimore City's first large scale utility project that was converted to all directional drilling. To date, we have completed approximately 10,000' including the river bores. The 2200' foot river bore was through rock.
